Cute little book, obviously made in the U.K., but there is a U.S. publisher listed in it. It features details on how electronic games work written at about a grade- or middle-school level or so. It talks about several well known handheld games, as well as popular home computers and console games from the time period. There are no photographs in the book, all images are artists drawings like the ones seen on the cover. It does, however, have several drawings of the circuitry and insides of the systems featured in the book. (Hard back and Library-bound editions also available.)
